Back Story
LightBlockerz was created as a solution to a problem.
Hi, my name is Ray. A couple of years ago I woke up early in the morning because the sunlight was shining through the sides of my shades (see image to the left). I searched on the internet for products that can help fill the gap and block the light, but no practical solution existed. So I created a temporary solution by putting cardboard paper to cover the gaps, which did the job of blocking light.
Solving a Problem
The paper solution did the job but didn't look nice, (see below image).
I kept thinking about it. Do other people have the same problem? Could this be a business? Is it possible to make a quality product at an affordable price? So I called in my father to help. It was a great way for me to learn about being an entrepreneur and starting a business.

We even filed for a provisional Utility Patent with the USPTO.
